When designing a training solution, there is no “one size fits all.”

Depending on our client’s needs, we conduct an in-depth analysis to determine what combination of learning alternatives will deliver the most cost-effective training outcome.

Such a combination, also known as “blended learning,” can be comprised of a mix of synchronous and asynchronous modalities such as live classroom training and distance e-learning.  Blended learning offers a cost-effective alternative for those institutions whose organizational structure requires that training be delivered to large, dispersed employee populations.

The goal is to empower the learner to gain the required knowledge and skills, improve his or her job performance, and eventually drive results aligned with business objectives.

Above we list some of the learning modalities associated with synchronous and asynchronous learning.   Synchronous learning is most commonly referred to when a group of people are exposed to the same content at the same time, but not necessarily at the same place (live classroom vs. virtual classroom).  In the case of asynchronous learning, there are no constraints of time and place among a network of people, but they are still exposed to the same content.
